Traditional costumes are booming – this is no longer a secret, people wear what they like, and this style of clothing knows no age limits. The ongoing boom in traditional costumes has long taken hold even outside the classic costume regions and has become a favorite of haute couture. Just as diverse and different as the wearers themselves, the offerings on the traditional costume market are showcased. In addition to elegant, exclusive dirndl fashion, the simple washing dirndl also holds its ground, as does the cheeky, short women’s lederhose combined with a shirt and retro chucks.

To unite all these different variations and styles of traditional costume in one shop, to offer a wide range of men’s and children’s traditional costumes as well as suitable accessories, and to make this fashion accessible and affordable for everyone, this ambitious goal was set by Thomas Dims, the founder and owner of Zillertal Traditional Costume World, exactly 10 years ago.
