The starting point is the Nordic Center in Kössen. From the Nordic Center, head southwest to the sports field. Pass the sports field, go through the underpass beneath the federal highway, continue in a right curve, then in a left curve past a row of houses into the open field. Cross the field, then walk a short distance through the woods, past the sports field, and back to the starting point.
