Description

From the Nordic Center, head southwest to the sports field. Go past it through the underpass under the main road and continue in a right-hand bend and then in a left-hand bend past a row of houses into the open field. Continue right into the forest until you reach a prominent cross-country ski trail junction. Here, turn left through the main road underpass into another open field in the district of Gundharting. Keep left over a steep slope to the next higher plateau. Then continue past the Hallbruckhof farm to Kranzach. Cross the main road at the Trachtenstube Achorner.
From there you reach a loop in the open field - if you want to get to the center of Walchsee you have to get off here and walk along the sidewalk to the Seehotel Brunner where the trail connection continues.
You can also stay on the trail and return to Schwendt via Bichlach.
Cross an open field to Kranzach and keep right at the Kranzach bridge (footpath) to reach the Kaiserwinkl trail again. The trail now leads via Bichlach through a partly hilly landscape to Schwendt. The trail leads via Unterschwendt to the hamlet of Leitwang and back to the Nordic Center.
