Description

The trail starts opposite the Oberberg cross-country skiing center, in a southerly direction, passing under the main road, then in an easterly direction. ATTENTION from here it is approx. 1 km on foot through the village center, along the lake to Kranzach. Turn right at Seehotel Brunner, after the small stream on the left-hand side the cross-country trail continues, from here there is also a connection to the Kaiserwinkl cross-country trail. The trail now leads via Bichlach through a partly hilly landscape to Schwendt. The trail leads via Unterschwendt to the hamlet of Leitwang and on to the Nordic Center. From the Nordic Center, the trail continues southwest to the sports field. Go past the sports field, through the underpass under the main road and continue in a right-hand bend and then in a left-hand bend past a row of houses into the open field. Continue right into the forest until you reach a prominent cross-country ski trail junction. Here, turn left through the main road underpass into another open field in the district of Gundharting. Keep left over a steep slope to the next higher plateau. Then continue past Hallbruckhof to Kranzach and along Walchsee back to the starting point.
