Description

From the starting point, the route leads along the Achensee Cycle Path (route 29) in the direction Achenwald. Right before Achenwald, the cycle path climbs gently into the valley. Before you reach the Klammbachalm (not serviced), cross the bridge and follow the forest track on the right to the Blaubergalm (1,542 metres, serviced). Follow the same route back to the starting point.

Getting here

  • Arrival by public transport

    Take the regional bus (line 4080) to Achenkirch and get off at the Achenkirch Abzw. Steinberg a. R. bus stop. From there, follow Untere Dorfstraße towards the B181 main road, cross the road and join the Achenseeradweg (Achensee cycle path) towards the border for a short distance. At the next bridge, follow the signs for Route 469 Achenwald–Blaubergalm.
