The route to Lochle Alm in Windach is a moderate trail. Initially, it goes on asphalt, then over a forest road. For downhill there are trail options.
The trails – especially the Kleble Alm Trail – are quite challenging and require some technical skill.
In the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN it’s about shared fun in bike sports – regardless of your riding level. Respect each other and support each other. Also behave respectfully towards all other people on the mountain and in the valley – and nature.
–> Stay on the paved and signposted paths. Do not ride over open meadows!
–> Avoid blocking the rear wheel and help preserve the paths.
–> Be considerate of animals & close the pasture gates. There can always be cows on the trails and lines. Ride cautiously and keep distance!
–> Please note: There are also hikers out on the natural trails of BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN. Ride carefully, stop, give way considerately and greet politely.
Well equipped rules! We recommend wearing MTB protective gear (helmet, protectors for knees, elbows, back, ...) on all lines, trails, enduro tracks, and mountain bike routes in BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN. All trails are exclusively intended for use with mountain bikes that meet today's quality standards.
The mountain bike route leads from the Freizeit Arena up to Granbichl. The asphalt road is followed further until it turns into a forest road. From there it is about 35 minutes to the Fiegl’s Hut junction, Windachtal comes next. There it goes briefly downhill and then uphill again. After another 30 minutes of riding time you reach the Fiegl’s Hut Alm. The descent follows the same path.
Those who like trails take the Lochle Alm Trail, then pedal on the transfer route to Kleble Alm and ride the Kleble Alm Trail to Sölden. Or choose the direct line via the Windach Trail down to the valley.
