The Wolfsrudel Trail is a beginners' route in the Trailcenter Ötztaler Höhe and runs through a beautiful forest at the entrance to the Ötztal. The trail is currently closed due to forest damage!
Where the Ötztal branches off from the Inn Valley, where mild temperatures prevail and apple orchards line up alongside vineyards—that’s where the Ötztaler Höhe Trail Center will open in 2020. E-bikers and other cyclists can tackle three very different loops here: from the easy WIDI to the challenging Wolfsrudel Trail. From the starting point right at the valley entrance (and along the bike path), you set off into the forests of the Ötztaler Höhe—and thanks to the mild temperatures, you can ride from as early as April through the end of October. At the start/finish line, you’ll find a bike wash, a place to grab a coffee and take a break—and afterward, you might even want to take a dip at the nearby AREA 47.
