Start in Tux-Vorderlanersbach: Between the Hotel Tuxerhof (house no. 80) and the apartments Steinbock, the road leads past the valley station of the Rastkogel lifts via the hamlet of "Gemais" and the Lattenalm to the Eggalm. Above the mountain station of the Eggalm lifts, the route leads to the "Waldhoaralm" and along the alpine path downhill to the Brandalm and on to Juns.
Tip: To get to the starting point, either follow the Tuxer Landesstraße (L6) or take a section of the Klausbodenrunde (Route 4010) to Tux-Lanersbach. In Juns, take the L6 out of the valley to the Klausboden bridge (bus stop). Turn right there and left at the next junction uphill to Gasthof Klausboden. Follow the forest path to Tux-Lanersbach - Hinterangerbrücke.
