Description

The starting point is in Rinnen, at the car park in the district Rauth. Follow the wide, graveled path no. 614 on the right, along the Rotbach and cross the bridge and the stream. Continue on this path to a hairpin bend, then turn left onto the path and follow the signs to Galtalpe (not managed). Pass the Galtalpe to the next crossing, then follow the signs to Knittelkarspitze. After a total walking time of approx. 4 hours you reach the summit of the Knittelkarspitze. The descent is initially on the same path to the first junction. Turn left there onto path No. 613. You are now on the so-called Reuttener Höhenweg. Continue over the summits Hintere Steinkarspitze and Vordere Steinkarspitze, to the Galtjoch and to the Abendspitze. Descent from the Abendspitze towards Sennalpe Raaz. Continue on the wide gravel path to the Ehenbichler Alm (Sennalpe Raaz + Ehenbichler Alm managed). Always follow trail no. 614 down to the valley, cross the bridge and walk back to the starting point in Rauth.

This mountain tour is only suitable for very experienced, vertigo-free mountain hikers.
Some passages are equipped with rope safety devices and a ladder.
