The Lechtaler Almdorf Fallerschein is a summer retreat for families, pleasure-seekers, nature lovers and, of course, for the grazing cows, sheep and goats all around!
Fallerschein at 1,300 meters south-east of Stanzach is considered the largest alpine village in Tyrol and one of the largest in the Alps with over 40 pretty log cabins. The alpine village itself can be reached via a short path suitable for baby carriages. Two cozy inns with sun terraces serve Tyrolean food and drinks.
Walk along the forest path to the "Hängebrücke" signpost, then follow the hiking trail to the left until you reach the suspension bridge.
After the suspension bridge, a beautiful, shady hiking trail leads you through coniferous forests up to the asphalt road to Fallerschein. Walk along the lush mountain meadows to Fallerschein.
