Description

From the Almkopf cable car underneath the main road to the Panoramaweg. After about 70 m, before the gravel pit, take the slightly ascending path on the left along the Kehrtal. Climb over the fence and follow the path towards Niederjoch-Schärtle (approx. 3 h). From the Schärtle steeply downhill, via the Grübleshütte (not open) to lake Heiterwanger See. Now along the lakeshore to the Hotel Fischer am See. From there take the bus back, or walk along the Panoramaweg to the Almkopfbahn (approx. 1 h). This tour is only recommended in dry weather (slippery when wet).
