Mountain hikes Erpfendorf: Huberalm - Angerlalm

A lovely loop through forests and meadows up to mountain huts

Description

Start in the center of Erpfendorf. Pass the Hotel Berghof in the direction of Kirchdorf, on the trail which leads you between the farmhouses Ober- & Unterbichl. This road turns into a forest path, passing the Jägeralm and the Bee Information Trail up to the Huberalm/Angerlalm junction. A narrow path leads you up to the Huberalm. Along the ridge you hike to the summit cross of the Huberhöhe. You will be rewarded with a beautiful view over Wilder Kaiser, Unterberg, Steinplatte, Loferer Steinberge and the Kitzbüheler Horn. Across alpine pastures and along a small lake you reach the Angerlalm via a forest road. For getting back to the starting point, follow the forest path downwards. Once you have reached the valley, you return to the centre via Schleiffergasse.
