At the Hotel Neuwirt (no.136), walk on path no.31 through the village and the orchards to the Gstan district. Before the bridge, turn right onto path no.12, which runs between the Zemmbach and the old field wall. After a short ascent we pass the small bridge over the Tuxbach. Path no. 12 leads past the Gasthof Hochsteg (no. 550) and runs through the district of Hochsteg and the Glocke forest uphill to the confluence with path no. 32.
