Description

The hike starts at Haus Edelweiss in Spiss. From there, the trail gently ascends along the Spiss protected forest, passing impressive larch trees that are 500 to 600 years old. Please note: motor vehicles are not permitted on the forest road. The route continues up to the Mutta at around 2,100 m, offering panoramic views. It then leads on to Walmutköpfl and down to Kälberhütte at 1,922 m. The return follows the Kälberberg trail back to the forest road and finally to Spiss.
