Beautiful variant and extension of the Lechtaler Höhenweg. A very worthwhile detour: the elegant summit of the Holzgauer Wetterspitze (2,895 m) alone makes mountaineers' hearts leap for joy. And then there's the location of the hut, hmm, we're in raptures. We won't tell you any more, you have to experience it for yourself.
Difficult stage on black mountain paths. Alpine experience, surefootedness and a head for heights are required. There are steep, rope-insured gullies to pass. Steep climbs and hairpin bends also require experience and concentration. Good physical condition required.
