Description

The theme trail takes you from Seichenbrunn car park along the Debant stream and across the Gaimberg mountain pasture and Hof mountain pasture to Lienz hut. The hike takes the visitors through a varied mountain pasture landscape surrounded by a mighty mountain backdrop. Interesting display boards provide information on the lifestyle of lichens, the value of the moors, the birds of the larch and stone pine forest and the cultural, historical and environmental significance of traditional alpine farming. For all those that want to find out more about mountain pastures, there is a small alpine museum near the Hofalm mountain pasture.
