Description

From the Ahornbahn top station, the well-maintained hiking trail No. 46 leads you to the Edelhütte, 2.238 m. From there, continue ascending on marked path No. 42 until you reach the Silbersattel, also known as Popbergschneide, 2.700 m. From this point onward, the ascent becomes more challenging, requiring surefootedness and a head for heights. The path leads across large rock slabs to the southern summit of the Ahornspitze and then onwards to the main summit, the Ahornspitz, 2.973 m. The return journey follows the same route.
