A marvellous panoramic hike! It's not just the Ahornspitze that draws the eye. Beyond the southern slopes of the Tux Valley (Tuxer Voralpen), the richly jagged Tuxer Hauptkamm extends towards the impressive Olperer.

From the Eggalm cable car mountain station, the slightly ascending trail no. 33 leads towards the Waldhoaralm and passes above the tree line under the Beillift. Trail no. 37 takes you comfortably over the southeast ridge of the Waldhoarspitze (2059 m) covered with shrub heath to the Grüblspitze (2395 m). The last few metres to the summit are steep. On the other hand, the descent on trail no. 35 over the north-east-facing ridge towards the Rastkogel massif to the Beillift mountain station is less strenuous. The starting point of the tour is reached on the draw path.
Rising above Tux-Lanersbach, the green Grüblspitze is characterized by gentle shapes. On its two ridges facing the Tuxertal, you can cross it without much effort. Thanks to the gondola, the tour starting point is above the timberline.
