You hike light-footedly in the constant presence of the wild river to Elmen, where it reveals its deep secrets to you in the nature park center.
From Bach to Häselgehr, the Lechweg leads directly along the water and continuously, but hardly noticeably, downhill. Easy hiking without any effort. The first gravel banks and alluvial forests characterize the river bed here. Elbigenalp is a little off the beaten track, but you can take a detour if you wish. In Häselgehr, switch to the north side of the valley, ascend to the legendary Doser waterfall, continue uphill on the panoramic trail through the mountain forest. Descend to the Klimmbrücke bridge, where you will find the nature park house with a viewpoint and exhibition on the Wild River, and continue to Elmen. The village is also located off the Lechweg trail.
The Lechweg trail starts in Bach and takes you along the river to Häselgehr. From there, you walk past the church in the direction of the hamlet of Luxnach. You then continue along the Burweg and Panoramaweg past the impressive Doser waterfall to Elmen. If you want to get to the center of Elmen, leave the Lechweg and follow a path to the right towards Klimm. Numerous natural highlights and cultural sights await you on this route.
