Bichlalm Piste Ski Tour

Kitzbühel / Kitzbühel Alps
Route length: 2.4 km

Ascent for piste ski tourers with a pleasant gradient. Ideal for leisurely tourers and beginners. The start of the ascent route is located directly at the end of the slope opposite the mid station of the Bichlalmsessellift and runs from here along ski run 50. Initially, the ascent route follows the piste through open meadow terrain with magnificent views. After a short stretch of forest, you return to open and scenic terrain about half an hour before reaching the Bichlalm. Continuing along the forest path, partly off-piste, you reach the Gasthof Bichlalm in an enjoyable manner.

Description

The 10 rules of conduct for ski tourers on slopes
The following rules were issued by the Board for Alpine Safety. Ski slopes are primarily available to users of cable cars and lifts. To avoid accidents and conflicts, we ask you to observe the following in addition to the FIS rules of conduct:
1. Observe warnings and local regulations.
2. Comply with the closure of a slope or part of a slope. Life-threatening situations can arise when snow groomers are in use, especially with winches - or during avalanche blasting, etc. Slopes may therefore be closed for the duration of the work for safety reasons.
3. Only ascend at the edge of the slope and in single file.
4. Only cross the slope at clear points and with sufficient distance between each other.
5. Only ski on freshly groomed slopes in the edge area. Tracks frozen solid overnight can severely impair the quality of the slope.
6. Leave the slopes at the specified time (depending on the location!)

7. Make yourself visible. Use a headlamp, reflective clothing etc. in the dark or in poor visibility.
8. If slopes are specifically dedicated to ski touring, only use these.
9. Do not take dogs onto the slopes.
10. Use designated parking spaces and pay any parking fees.
