Description

From the hiking start point Going Zentrum (former tourist info Going) (764m), the path leads through the underpass at the Raiffeisenbank Going and then turns right along the Pramaweg until just before the Landhaus Jägerhof. Here, the groomed winter hiking trail branches off to the right, parallel to the Aschauerloipe.

With magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, you roam through the snow-covered landscape to the car park of the Badesee Going. Now continue with a view of the Kitzbüheler Horn until you reach the Oberschattenriedhof. From here, follow the winter hiking trail to the left until you reach the Aschauerweg.

Once there, turn right and walk for approx. 50 m until you branch off to the right again onto the winter hiking trail. Passing the Koasastadl and accompanied by the sun, you hike once more through the hamlet of Schattenried and past the Badesee Going back to the Bio-Hotel Stanglwirt. There, take the pedestrian underpass and follow the path through the snowy forest along the Goinger Hausbach stream past the ice rink until you arrive back in the village centre of Going.
