This is a cleared winter hiking trail. However, icy or slippery spots may still occur.
This winter hike stretches over eleven kilometers through snow-covered forests around the Brunschkopf, with no significant inclines. Along the way, it offers three cozy huts for breaks and impressive panoramic views over the Inn Valley.
The starting point of the hike is at parking lot P3. The tour begins with a relaxing loop around the snow-covered Möserer See and leads to the sun terrace of the Möserer Seestub’n, a perfect spot for a first break. Here, with a romantic view of the lake, you can enjoy a seasonal hot drink and traditional delicacies. Afterward, the path takes you back to the crossroads and continues on trail No. 60 towards Wildmoosalm.
After a right turn, the trail winds gently through the Lehenwald forest above the snow-covered Möserer Mähder, offering beautiful views of Seefeld and the Gschwandtkopf. Shortly before reaching Wildmoosalm, the hiking trail briefly joins the winter road, where special attention should be paid to carriages and buses.
Once at Wildmoosalm, you can enjoy traditional Tyrolean hut specialties made in-house. The trail then continues to Lottensee, an intermittent lake that may appear in spring. The gentle terrain makes this part of the hike particularly pleasant.
At the fork near the Ferienheim Wildmoossee (not in operation), keep left and hike through the forest, passing the two aperiodic lakes. The Lottenseehütte offers another inviting spot for a break, either under the large trees or in the cozy hut.
The return path follows the Pirschsteig (trail No. 2) above the road, providing stunning views over the Inn Valley and the surrounding mountains. In Mösern, the trail merges into Broch-Weg and leads directly back to the starting point at Möserer Lake.
Take the bus to Mösern, get off at the "Hinterfeldlift" stop, and walk 10 minutes to the starting point at parking lot P3 by the lake Möserer See.

From Innsbruck or from Landeck/Reschen, take the A12 Inntalautobahn to the Telfs Ost exit, then via Telfs and Telfer Berg to Mösern. From Garmisch, take the route through Mittenwald to Scharnitz, then continue to Seefeld and Mösern.
In Mösern, drive to the bus stop "Hinterfeldlift," follow the signs to Möserer Lake, and take Möserer Seeweg. Park at parking lot P3 by the lake Möserer See.
