Your HOME in the mountains

At almost 1,300 m above sea level, far away from everyday life, in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park region.

The Ortnerhof is a small, fine holiday hotel with own riding stable embedded in the mountain landscape between the impressive mountains Großvenediger and the Großglockner.

Our farmhouse has a long tradition, which has been shaped and grown through generations. In the traditional Stubenhaus you will find private and quiet retreats in the typical East Tyrolean farm style. You can enjoy modern and exclusive open space in the in the newly built Stadl apartments, right next door.

Culinary pampering: The day begins with a hearty breakfast that provides energy for every holiday adventure. In the evening we serve a delicious menu in three courses in our cozy restaurant rooms.

Local, fresh & enjoyable. Because it tastes best that way. In our kitchen we consciously use products from high-class producers from Tyrol and Austria. Preferably even from our valley and East Tyrol.

Feel the freedom and experience feelings of happiness together while mountain biking and horse riding along the turquoise blue glacier river towards the head of the valley and the highest peaks in Austria.

Breathe deeply and recharge your batteries: open the front door and step out into the magnificent natural and mountain landscape. Then relax and enjoy in the sauna or infrared cabin. A pampering massage will do you good.
