Stanzach is a small, idyllic municipality in the Lechtal Valley between the Lechtal Alps and the Allgäu Alps, home to 440 inhabitants.
Locals and visitors alike appreciate the beautiful surroundings and quiet location in Stanzach. One of the most popular attractions is the high mountain village Fallerschein where guests can enjoy traditional food and drink after a hike or mountainbike ride, or even stay the night. As in many other villages in Tirol, traditions play an important role in Stams. The village hosts regular brass band concerts and village fairs.
In winter, Stanzach is tranformed into a picture perfect winter wonderland. Cross-country skiers will find 50km of trails leading through the Lechtal Valley, while there is also a small family-friendly ski resort with a draglift and night skiing twice a week.
