The resort of Schlick 2000 in the Stubai Valley is ideal for children with little or no skiing experience, while at the same time offering a number of challenging pistes for advanced and expert skiers and boarders.
Beginners and families with children on holiday in Tirol will find exactly what they are looking for at the Schlick 2000 resort in the Stubai Valley. This compact ski area offers facilities for families such as Big Ron's Kinderland at the midway station of the cable car as well as childcare, conveyor-belt ski lifts, snow carousels and slalom courses where Mum and Dad can drop in and see what their children have been learning. The rental shop is located next to the bottom station of the lift. More experienced skiers will also find plenty of challenging red and black pistes, and the "Super-Skipass" gives access to the Stubai Glacier.
Why not take a break from the slopes and explore some of the many attractions in the valley such as the Ice Grotto on the Stubai Glacier or the Stubay adventure swimming pool and sauna with a children's pool and rubber ring slide? In Klaus Äuele families can skate on the outdoor ice rink (skates can be hired on site) or take part in a lantern hike with real husky dogs.
Special family deals. The ski resort offers reduced rates for children and youths. Children under 8 years of age ski for free when accompanied by a paying parent.
