Lush alpine meadows giving way to the jagged peaks of the Wilder Kaiser Mountains make for a spectacular backdrop where golf enthusiasts will find a 27-hole complex in the village of Ellmau.
The Wilder Kaiser Mountains are very much picture-perfect Tirol: lush alpine meadows, thick pine forests and, above it all, high mountains with peaks so sharp and jagged they could almost tear open the sky. Golf enthusiasts can look forward to teeing off in these truly breathtaking surroundings during a stay in the region. In Ellmau you will find three 9-hole courses (bearing the names "Ellmau", "Wilder Kaiser" and "Tirol") which can be played individually or combined into an 18-hole or even 27-hole round! The fairways are challenging, with the mountains a constant element throughout. The club is known for its excellent golf academy offering courses for everyone from total beginners to experienced players wishing to perfect their game. The clubhouse located in a former farmhouse is a good place to relax.
