Birds of Prey Shows on Ahorn Mountain in Mayrhofen

Mayrhofen

Experience eagles, buzzards and owls as they take flight on the summit of the Ahorn mountain. Learn all about these spectacular birds and marvel at their agility as they brush right past you and fly above your head at Europe’s highest-lying birds-of-prey park.

Up to 800 spectators hold their breath as the magnificent golden eagle circles above their heads at what is Europe's highest birds-of-prey centre, at over 2,000 metres above sea level. The one-hour show gives visitors the opportunity to learn about birds of prey and their incredible skills as well as, of course, to see them in action. The experienced trainers invite the birds to soar high into the sky before plunging down to earth to land with pinpoint precision on their handler's leather glove. Get ready for some spectacular avian acrobatics! At the nearby reservoir you will find a learning trail with information boards about the history of birds of prey in this part of the world. The perfect way to brush up your knowledge before the show begins!
