Kundl Gorge

Kundl

Scenic Kundl Gorge retains a wild, rugged natural beauty and is a popular destination for all ages. A dragon is said to have once created the deep and narrow gorge by biting into rock—this stunning tale unfolds along the way. The natural gorge links Wildschönau Valley with Lower Inntal Valley. An adventurous three kilometer-long walkway winds high above the rushing torrents of Wildschönauer Ache River and passes spectacular geological areas. This walk has it all with forested areas, geological features and ponds and puddles to play around. A slow train operates between Mühltal and the entrance to Kundl Gorge and creates memories that will stay with little ones forever.
