Leutasch Ghost Gorge

Leutasch

Wreathed in myths, there's something truly magical about the spectacular Leutasch Ghost Gorge. A mountain cave on foot of a rushing waterfall that drops 23 meters, resounding with evocative bells and roars—it’s no wonder that locals have long referred to a mythical spirit that calls this place home… The rugged countryside has inspired local legends of ghosts, dwarfs and goblins. The 3-kilometer long pathway across mysterious Leutasch Ghost Gorge twists and turns through magnificent scenery and across a spectacular 800-meter long boardwalk. Along the way there are viewpoints and information signs telling the story of the spooky creatures. A beautiful, 200-meter long Waterfall Boardwalk will lead you deep down into the gorge and breathtaking views of the waterfall will be revealed from an amazing viewing platform. The boardwalk is not suitable for pushchairs, bicycles and dogs.
