The cozy Leutascher Klammstüberl is located directly at the entrance to the Geisterklamm gorge. From the beginning of May to the end of October, hungry hikers and bikers will find a cozy garden with sun terrace outside and a shady Tyrolean "Stüberl" inside. During the summer months there is not a single closing day because the heart of the owner Sonja beats at the stove: For example, with delicious Kaiserschmarrn, fresh from the pan. Or with crispy Schnitzel, directly from the butter pan. For our little adventurers with a big appetite, Sonja recommends the delicious Klammgeistburger or alternatively chicken nuggets with ketchup. Changing daily specials bring a delicious variety to the menu and small appetites can be satisfied with ham and cheese toast, crisp salads or a hearty Tyrolean Kiachl made to a house recipe. Colorful ice cream specialties, freshly roasted coffee and homemade cakes and strudels (apple and curd cheese are truly legendary) round out the culinary variety on the sweet side as well. By the way, private "Festln" are also possible in the Klammstüberl on request and with advance notice (mail or phone) up to 30 people in the "Stüberl".

There is a lock for bicycles, and not far from the Klammstüberl you can also refresh yourself after sporting activities with a natural Kneipp walk in the Leutascher Ache.

STARTING POINT
The journey to the Klammstüberl and the Leutascher Geisterklamm is uncomplicated and easy by bus and car. If you arrive by public regional bus, get off at the bus stop Leutasch-Geisterklamm, car drivers will find sufficient parking spaces with costs at the car park Spirit Gorge.


SUMMER TOURS

• Spirit Gorge. From the Klammstüberl it is not far into the wild and romantic Geisterklamm. Over well-secured paths and suspension bridges, the trail leads along the Leutascher Ache through the steep gorge into the realm of the Ghost Gorge. Waterfall included.

• Leutasch Valley Bike Tour. Picturesque and comfortable bike tour from the Salzbach car park in Gaistal through the Leutasch Valley to the Klammstüberl. From there you walk through the Geisterklamm. As the route runs mostly in the shade along the Leutascher Ache, the tour is also pleasant to cycle on hot days.

• Bike tour Wetterstein. The spectacular Almrunde Bikefreunde is a challenging but rewarding tour with panoramic views through the alpine paradise of Gaistal and along the Leutascher Ache to Ehrwald. Continue via Garmisch and Mittenwald, followed by a short stretch of country road to the Leutascher Klammstüberl at the Geisterklamm. Back at the Flämenwandl climbing garden to Weidach and from there back to the starting point of the tour.
