Ballhaus Museum

Imst

The Ballhaus, a 16th century building that originally served as storehouse for baled goods, today houses a museum that chronicles the rich history and heritage of Imst. The cultural collections at the Ballhaus Museum provide a look into the diversity of the community and the cultural history of the town of Imst. This diversity creates an interesting look into the collecting practices of our ancestors and the legacy of a community. The building was restored to its former splendour and is a worthwhile destination in its own right. Permanent and special exhibitions are on display throughout the year. The Museum also offers educational programs and special cultural events.
