For generations, the cheese dairy has been crafting handmade cheeses on Niederkaseralm Alpine Pasture Hut, at an elevation of 1,050 meters. Cheese as it should be – high quality and handmade in the time honoured traditional fashion. The 90 cows graze on the pastures’ indigenous grasses and herbs and produce some of the finest milk available. Experience the art of making cheese from pure, grass-fed, raw cow milk at the cheese dairy, watch the cheese making process and sample cheeses. Afterwards, you are strongly recommended to savour butter, yogurt and curd cheese made from raw milk. The fine produce is also available for sale. If the weather is good, there is seating on the outdoor patio as well.
