For pure romance and scenery, Radurschl Gorge in Tirol’s Oberland Region is hard to beat. Take a walk like no other, along bridges and over a suspension bridge across Radurschlbach Brook, a wild stretch of whitewater. Tumbling over cliffs and down steep-sided rocks in pretty cascades, the rushing water adds a delightful extra dimension to this woodland walk that has its trailhead close to the village of Pfunds. The scenic gorge plays host to a varied community of specialised plants. The river banks are carpeted with rare mosses, grasses and ferns. At the end of the gorge you will get to an amazing place of awesome natural beauty, a picturesque meadow with benches to rest and to take in the stunning scenery. The easy and well-marked trail is an outstanding nature experience and takes about 2.5 hours to complete, with the loop bringing you back to the trailhead, passing by Greit Mountain Farm.
