In Assling in East Tirol, it is easy to combine cycling and swimming. The Erlebnisschwimmbad Vithal is located on the Drau Cycle Path, a popular cycle trail in the Drautal Valley.
Water enthusiasts are spoilt for choice at this open-air swimming area featuring a wide water slide, a climbing net and a large pool for swimming lengths, while beginners can work on their technique in the separate non-swimmers’ area. Children love playing in the great adventure playground including a tree house. For teenagers there is basketball, volleyball, handball, football, badminton and much more. Outside the swimming season the playground and sports court can be accessed for free.
