Frauenschuh

Frauenschuh stands for outstanding leather fashion, exclusive sportswear and the famous Kitzbühel look. Founded in 1950 as a family business, Frauenschuh is today an internationally renowned brand.

The world-famous wintersport hotspot Kitzbühel is a world apart, though visitors wanting to understand what makes Kitzbühel so special and its population tick can do a little fieldwork by paying a visit to Frauenschuh. Kaspar Frauenschuh's exclusive boutique in the heart of the resort embodies everything that Kitzbühel stands for: elegance and tradition; ambition and charm; popular yet discrete; open to the world and, at the same time, deeply attached to the mountain landscape; luxurious yet close to nature and keen to celebrate and preserve the region's traditional values.

International flair with local roots

Kaspar and Theresia Frauenschuh's parents laid the foundations for today's boutique by opening a small leather tanning workshop producing quality custom-made items for clients around the world. Since 1995, Frauenschuh has produced its own internationally renowned collection which more than lives up to the shop's tagline: "Luxury Sportswear from Austria".

As well as fashion, Frauenschuh is also a specialist for goods made from deer leather tanned using fish oil. The elegant jackets, skirts and trousers made using this supple but hard-wearing leather become more attractive the longer you have them and the more you wear them.
