Gasser Rodeln

The Gasser Rodeln logo, which shows a tobogganer in full flight, could easily have been inspired by the Tirolean brothers Andreas and Wolfgang Linger. The double Olympic winners and triple world champions in two-man luge stormed to many of their most famous wins on toboggans made by Gasser in their factory in Mühlbachl in the Wipptal Valley.

Of course, the high-tech race machines used by the Linger brothers to hurtle down ice-covered luge runs around the world have little in common with standard wooden toboggans. However, the expertise and know-how built up within the company over more than 100 years of experience benefits professionals and amateurs of all ages and abilities. With adjustable seat position, interchangeable steel runners, rubber inserts for easy steering and bright red paint job reminiscent of a famous Italian supercar manufacturer, the "Rennsportrodel" and "Supersportrodel" still remain the absolute non plus ultra for pros and ambitious amateurs with the skills and the nerves to follow in the footsteps of their idols.

For professionals and ambitious amateurs

A particularly eye-catching creation from Gasser Rodeln is the innovative "Naviser" model combining perfect steering in tight corners, stability at high speeds and good gliding properties on hard and icy surfaces. Families, on the other hand, would be well advised to choose one of the more comfortable classic tobbogans, which are easy to steer and equipped with a leash for children to hold onto during the ride.
