Dramatic visuals of stunning, mysterious mountain scenery, extreme situations… The annual St. Anton Mountain Film Festival is a must-do event for outdoor and movie enthusiasts each year in August.
Now in its 28th year, the International Mountain Film Festival has been bringing socially conscious, environmentally aware, and outdoor adventure films to St. Anton am Arlberg since 1994. Taking place from August 21 to 24, 2024, a variety of new productions will be screened over the four days, including various film premières. The acclaimed annual festival at the Arlberg-well.com hosts a highly respected international film competition, a packed lecture programme of guest speakers, filmmakers and athletes and crucially it’s the main social gathering for outdoor enthusiasts in the Austrian Tirol. “Mountain, Man, Adventure” has hundreds of visitors from around the globe watching new film productions. Many film screenings include high-profile premières plus plenty of special guests, such as renowned alpinists, mountaineers, climbers, and freeride world champions.
The festival draws to a close on August 24, 2024, with the presentation of the 2024 Film Competition Winners.
