Held annually in January for more than 50 years, the International Dolomites Run in Lienz is considered one of the most iconic and scenic Nordic ski races in Austria.
This classic among cross country ski races, the Dolomites Run in Obertilliach, East Tirol, is Austria’s biggest Nordic ski event. The races are open to both, recreational and professional athletes. All in all, there are six different race options scheduled from January 19 to 21, 2024, encompassing diagonal stride and skating techniques for all ages and abilities against a stunning natural backdrop. The main competition, the Dolomites Run ski marathon will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024. Another highlight is the cross country ski sprint named "Dolomites Sprint", with the world elite competing for their chance at glory in the town center of Lienz on Friday night.
