Längenfeld is an awesome candidate for running and this annual event offers participants the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Ötztal Valley on a gorgeous 5.2, 10.5 or 21K course.
Towered by the lofty Three-Thousanders of the Ötztal Alps, the ingredients for an excellent running experience all exist here. Start and finish is the Aqua Dome Thermal Spa in Längenfeld. As the course follows the valley basin across meadows and fields and along Ötztaler Ache River and Fischbach stream, the elevation gain is minimal and easy to follow. The actual Folk Run is a 10.5K loop course. If you’re looking for a challenge at a longer distance, the two-loop Half Marathon is the race for you.
New is the 5.2K Genuss Run for those who want to enjoy their day the most. A mixed team division is offered on all distances. Moreover, there will be a Kids’ Run for different age groups (Bambini up to U16).
Participants enjoy free admission to the Aqua Dome Thermal Spa on race day, including full use of lockers and showers.
