Set in the culture-rich, historic small town of Hall, the BurgSommer Festival celebrates contemporary circus culture at its best with Circo PaniKo from Italy in late May and June.
The fantastic Circo PaniKo is back in Hall from May 28 through June 11, 2023! The contemporary circus company from Bologna, Italy, returns to Hofratsgarten Gardens at Hasegg Castle during this year’s BurgSommer Hall Festival. Circo PaniKo is a nomadic collective made up of many artists who travel across Europe performing an amazing show full of magic, subtle irony and acrobatics under a huge yellow tent. Using circus techniques, live music, theater, dance and illusionism to share a new idea of doing circus, they will present their shows named “Apocalippo” and “Gran Galà PaniKo”. The artistic expressions of these artists are different from the usual: there are not animals in cage to tame, but there is the idea of creating art and joy using live music, acrobatic performances and acting power. Actors, acrobats and musicians create a magical and romantic atmosphere, guiding the audience on a journey out of time and inside the circus tent. Moreover, the tent also serves as a concert stage during the Circo PaniKo Tour.
