Luring more than 2,000 athletes, the Kaiserwinkl-Walchsee Challenge is one of the largest triathlon events in Austria. Competitors must complete a 1.9K swim in Walchsee Lake, 21K run and 90K bike ride in and around scenic Kaiserwinkl Region. Held this weekend as well is the Challenge Aquabike (June 23, 2024).
On June 22, 2024, there is the Women’s Challenge, a separate 5K run for women only, which is open to all abilities, from novices over recreational to expert runners. That same day also sees the Junior Challenge for upcoming athletes.
