In 2024, Waidring in Tirol will host the 7th IVV Hiking Europiad. Some 1,500 participants from over 20 nations will take part in this multi-day folk sports festival for everyone.
The IVV Europiad takes place every two years in a European IVV member country. In late May 2024, Waidring in Tirol, at the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps Region, will play host to the 7th edition of the event. Apart from hiking, the IVV Europiad also includes cycling and swimming. The supporting program opens up many opportunities for participants to make and maintain international friendships in a harmonious atmosphere. For three days, participants can explore the stunning network of hiking trails in the scenic Kitzbühel Alps Region. Walks are offered to suit all tastes and abilities and public buses and trains can be used for free.
