Pianist Thomas Castañeda aka Vélvez has its roots in Tirol Oberland Region. In September, he will present his new album “I Will Never Die” there, in an outdoor event at historic Landeck Castle.
On September 07, 2022, Vélvez aka Thomas Castañeda will present his brand-new debut album as a solo pianist, “I Will Never Die” (col legno) in Landeck, at the heart of Tirol Oberland Region. Piano player and composer Thomas Castañeda founded the ensemble "Donauwellenreiter" (DWR) that has been praised and recognized for both its outstanding live concerts and recordings. In the year 2020, he traveled to Colombia and played a concert at the Steinway Piano Hall Bogotá. This was his first performance as a solo artist and the birth of Vélvez.
Given under hopefully starry skies on a wonderfully balmy evening, this concert will be one of the highlights of the 2022 summer concerts in Tirol.
