The 7th Imst Cycling Marathon again comes with three scenic rides. Among the best one-day bike tour routes in Tirol, this event is appropriate for cyclists of all experience levels.
Now in its seventh year, this popular cycling race boasts three different rides: Held on May 14, 2023, the Imst Cycling Marathon runs across the scenic valleys of Gurgltal, Inntal and Pitztal, where the scenery is unbroken. And you are free to concentrate on the beauty because it is a fully supported ride with two convenient food stops and a well-marked course. While the race is appropriate for cyclists of all experience levels, Route ‘A’ is 110 kilometers long and offers many ways to challenge yourself on beautifully, scenic roads with a total elevation gain of 2,300 meters. The route starts in Imst and winds along quiet country backroads and across Holzleitensattel Saddle to Telfs, Ochsengarten, Oetz and across lower Pitztal Valley back to Imst. Route ‘B’ returns to Imst from Telfs, without passing Ochsengarten and Oetz (90 kilometers, 1,300 meters of elevation gain). The scenic Panorama Loop is a modest 70K challenge with manageable 700 vertical meters to tackle.
