With the towering Kufstein Fortress as a backdrop, oenophiles will taste an array of wines from Austria and Italy at Kufstein’s Town Park, plus indulge in delicious cuisine and live music performances.
This celebration of wine is in its 20th year in mid-July 2024: Visitors can sample the fine wares of Austrian and Italian wineries at the Town Park of Kufstein, including some of Kufstein’s twin town Rovereto in Italy’s Trentino and Langenlois in Lower Austria. Of course, the wines are served in original Riedel glasses from Kufstein. And though this festival claims a devotion to wine, organizers of this longstanding annual event leave plenty of room on the schedule for food. Between the sipping and swilling, festivalgoers can feast on decadent Italian pasta dishes and hearty Tirolean staples and attend concerts. The oenophile weekend experience commences at 5:00pm on Friday and Saturday.
