A remarkable convergence of pianistic talent, the Tirol Festival Erl will once again welcome superb and distinguished musicians for this inspirational series of piano concerts on four days in late March.
The artistic diversity of this year’s Piano Days is as invigorating as ever. From March 30 to April 02, 2023, the Tirol Festival Erl brings superb pianists, vocal artists, musicians and an abundance of inspiring repertoire to wonderfully committed audiences. The Piano Days are taking keyboard exploration to a new level.
The audiences will be treated to four evenings of captivating piano music of all eras, opening Thursday, March 30, 2023. Works by Franz Schubert and Ludwig van Beethoven will be performed by young Vienna-based pianist Lukas Sternath. The orchestra concert on Friday, March 31, 2023, is dedicated to Maurice Ravel’s 20th century masterpieces, played by Claire Huangci, who will also perform a recital with music of all eras on the following day.
The festival is drawn to a close on April 02, 2023, with a charity matinée performance of works by Ludwig van Beethoven with Erik Nielsen acting as both conductor and pianist.
