The 38th St. Johann Dumpling Festival provides a culinary feast of 26,000 dumplings in 26 recipe variations along a 500-meter long table. Buckle up and enjoy the ride at the 2019 three-day Festival.

The 38th Dumpling Festival on September 21, 2019, is celebrated at the world‘s longest dumpling table in St. Johann and will be a truly unforgettable day for the event-goers in attendance. The 500-meter long table will run along Speckbacherstraße Street in St. Johann in a colorful celebration. Try a plethora of 26 different dumpling dishes made by 20 local restaurants at the Dumpling Festival in St. Johann. 

The dumplings would be enough to satisfy the hungry crowd, but the free entertainment will keep everybody at the festival long after appetites are sated. The Dumpling Festival is kicked-off September 20, 2019 at 09:30am with a walk to Harschbichlalm Alpine Pasture Hut, where festivities start at 11:00am. At 7:30pm, there will be a concert given by St. Johann Brass Band and Schlager singer Petra Frey on the main square. Saturday’s celebrations will be launched at 12:00 noon with the marching brass band. On the final day, Sunday, there will be pre-lunch entertainment with live music by “Zillertaler Mander” at 11:00am.

Price information

Admission to the Dumpling Festival is Euro 7 (including a 40-page cookbook full of dumpling recipes). Admission to the pre-lunch entertainment with live music by “Zillertaler Mander” on Sunday is free.
