“Stummer Schrei” Festival of Culture

Stumm, 18.06.2021 - 08.08.2021

The Theater & Music Festival in Zillertal Valley is Stumm’s flagship event, a unique celebration of music, theater and cultural arts, deeply rooted in the cultural scene of Tirol.

The festival’s top-notch theater organization is known for presenting popular masterpieces and innovative new works with dedicated amateur actors from the area. One of the highlights of the 2021 Stummer Schrei Festival is the premiere performance of Salzburg playwright and director Beda Percht’s play “Die Akte Jedermann”. Five more theatre plays will be staged during this year’s Stummer Schrei Festival, including “Besuchszeit” by Felix Mitterer and “Pubertät” by Josefina Vázquez Arcos.

The 2021 music program is varied and international, including “Quintett Alma”, “Donauwellenreiter” and “Galoić & Córdovil”. The festival’s upscale events are set against the magnificent backdrop of the Zillertal Alps and provide guests and locals an opportunity to experience professional theater and musical performances.
