In January, the Winter Walking Days will take place in Kartitsch in East Tirol. For four days, avid walkers can explore the best of winter wonderland through a series of guided walks and cultural activities.
The Winter Walking Days are a wonderful opportunity to take in the beauty of the scenic environs of Kartitsch in East Tirol through a series of guided walks for all abilities on four days. The area is a true gem for wintry walks and the program includes trips to the mountains in Kartitsch’s backyard led by experienced and licenses guides. Moreover, free shuttle services and evening entertainment will be offered as well.
The event is kicked-off January 11, 2024, with a torchlight walk of the village at 5:00pm and an opening ceremony on the village square at 6:00pm, including a winter picnic. Highlights include a walk and escorted by a night watchman on January 12, 2024, and a night sledding trip on January 13, 2024.
