Hear the snow crush beneath your boots and take in beautiful natural terrain under starry skies in the cloak of winter, listening to music in the distance. Torches and open fires are placed along the wooded trails to Klaus Äuele Adventure Playground to guide walkers and set the magical mood on four nights in January and February. Hike through winter wonderland by candlelight and warm up by the fire after, enjoying culinary delicacies. Take a spin on the frozen ponds at ice skating or Alpine curling and watch skilled craftsmen carve elaborate sculptures from ice. Moreover, there will be horse-drawn carriage rides and dog sledding.
The Winter Walking Nights commence by 7:30pm. Free shuttle bus service between Schönberg and Klaus Äuele. The return trip to Stackler departs at 9:30pm; the buses departing at 9:00pm, 10:00pm and 10:30pm ride via Milders.
